Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026 · Daybrain, Gloucester, UK · hello@daybra.in
Plain English summary: Use Bridge to get real tasks done. Pay only when you accept a quote. Be reasonable with what you ask for. We'll do our best — but we're a small Gloucester business, not a global corporation.
1. About the service
Daybrain Bridge ("Bridge", "the service") is an AI-assisted task platform operated by Daybrain, a sole trader based in Gloucester, UK. Bridge connects users with AI-powered task scoping and real human agents who fulfil tasks on their behalf.
By accessing or using Bridge at bridge.daybra.in, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Bridge.
- Digital tasks (IT, documents, emails, automation) are available to users across the UK.
- Physical and on-site tasks (courier, office support, photography) are available to users in GL postcodes (Gloucester area) only.
- By using the service, you confirm you meet these eligibility criteria.
3. Your account
You can sign in using Google or an email/password combination, via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
- All activity that takes place under your account.
- Notifying us immediately at hello@daybra.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Placing a task
When you describe a task in Bridge:
- The AI will scope your request and generate a quote based on the work involved.
- You are not committed to anything until you explicitly accept the quote and complete payment.
- Once payment is confirmed, a Daybrain agent is assigned to your task.
- Timeline estimates provided at the quote stage are indicative, not guaranteed. We will communicate any significant delays.
- For physical tasks, you must provide an accurate Gloucester-area location. We cannot be responsible for delays caused by incorrect location information.
5. Payment and refunds
- All prices are quoted and charged in GBP, inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Full refund — if we cannot assign an agent or begin your task within a reasonable time, you will receive a full refund.
- Partial refund — if a task is partially completed and we are unable to finish it, you will receive a fair partial refund at our discretion.
- No refund after completion — once a task has been completed and delivered, it is non-refundable.
- If you have a dispute, contact us within 48 hours of task completion at hello@daybra.in.
- We do not store your card details at any point. Stripe handles all card data.
6. AI-generated content
Bridge uses Anthropic Claude to power its AI assistant. You should be aware that:
- AI responses may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
- AI-generated content does not constitute professional legal, financial, medical, or other regulated advice.
- You should independently verify any information provided by the AI before relying on it for important decisions.
- Your conversation data is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle this data.
7. Field agents
Tasks accepted through Bridge are completed by staff from Daybrain's business arms:
- All agents are vetted and employed or contracted directly by Daybrain — not sourced from third-party gig platforms.
- Agents are bound by confidentiality agreements and are only given the task information necessary to complete your job.
- Agents operate as contractors or employees of Daybrain; they are not independent third parties acting on your behalf.
- Do not attempt to contact agents directly outside the Bridge platform or negotiate separate arrangements with them.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Bridge to:
- Request any task that is illegal under UK law.
- Harass, threaten, or harm any person, including Daybrain staff or agents.
- Submit false information or engage in fraudulent activity.
- Pay agents directly or attempt to circumvent the Bridge payment system.
- Upload malicious files or content designed to harm our systems or other users.
- Generate hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content through the AI interface.
- Scrape or automate requests to the Bridge platform without our written consent.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or remove any task at our discretion if it violates these terms or we deem it inappropriate.
9. Limitation of liability
Bridge is provided on an "as-is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Bridge, including lost profits or business opportunities.
- Our total liability to you in any calendar month is capped at the total amount you paid to Bridge in that month.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Intellectual property
- Deliverables — any documents, content, or materials created by a Daybrain agent as part of your completed and paid task are owned by you upon full payment.
- Platform IP — the Bridge platform, its design, code, branding, and AI prompts are owned by Daybrain. You may not reproduce, copy, or adapt them without written permission.
11. Termination
- By you — you can close your account at any time by emailing hello@daybra.in. Any outstanding tasks will be completed or refunded before closure.
- By us — we may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice where possible.
12. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice, giving you at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect.
Continued use of Bridge after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
